Won't you be mine?
This weekend was spent doing some yard work, enjoying the company of a good friend at dinner and quilting away trying to get a couple of stalled projects under way. On the techie front (and I am a total geek when it comes to stuff like this) I snagged myself an iPhone. I have to say, for anyone looking at possibly purchasing one of these little wonders, that it is probably just the most amazing piece of technology I've seen. And I was a sceptic! My husband drove us to the store for "just a look" and lo and behold 1/2 hour later we were walking out of the store pockets MUCH lighter but with new toys in our hands. BEWARE - once you get one in your hands it's pretty hard to resist the lure! Coolest feature - the maps. Type is where you want to go, and *poof* it gives you a map, phone number and address and then offers you directions. Lost no more!
Alos, this is pretty exciting news! I designed a pattern using the upcoming Be Mine collection by Sue Zipkin for Clothworks. Well, The Fat Quarter Shop is now offering a kit of this quilt which you can now pre-order through their shop.

The Jolly family also stopped by my booth at Spring Market and now carry a couple of my patterns... They are just the nicest people!

Oh! I saw your quilt on FQS's "Coming Soon" page - so cute!
I agree - Kimberly & Kevin Jolly are the best!
Congrats on snagging your iPhone! I'm such a Mac girl - it is extremely tempting. Alas - I have well over a year with my current wireless network. . . so maybe a little later for me. (Unless someone can talk Apple into expanding the wireless service offered beyond at&t. . . ) sigh.
