Step AWAY from the quilt...
Back up quietly and no one gets hurt... Really.... Seriously... Ok, so a bit melodramatic maybe but honestly I have ripped this border off this quilt four times now. Maybe more, but I've lost count. I knew i was in deep trouble when I woke up at 2am dreaming about this damned quilt last night. Oh sure it looks all cute and innocent with those pink scallops. It's cursed I tell you.

Well, it's not perfect (but what is?) and that's just fine by me! More than fine considering. It seems that one side of the quilt center was like a micron shorter than the other side - Ok, maybe more than a micron shorter - and I tricked myself into thinking that the quilt fairies would sprinkle some pixie dust upon my seams and *poof* the seams would just magically line up.
The moral to the story - Quilt while it's fun and stop before you find yourself weilding an angry seam ripper.

That is so pretty. I'd love to zoom into check the fabrics. Nice selections dearie! Pattern? book? Hey, when is that book coming out? And fall market???
oh my, that quilt is yummy luscious, took my breath away. yes, the scallops are beauteous, but dangerous, don't I know it. I think I used all the ink in a dissapearing ink pen one day making those suckers.
Oh my goodness, beautiful quilt!! I honestly wish I could quilt like that. Beautiful blog, I'm linking to you!
Your quilt is beautiful, regardless that it's not perfect. I know the frustration of having to tear something out again and again. I feel your pain.
I'm glad to know that there's someone else that suffers besides me, and willingly(?) admits to it!
That is so beautiful, Cyndi! But yeah, another thing I can relate to. Cursed projects. But can't wait to see it in all its finished glory. In Houston, I hope?
