The ostrich takes her head out of the ground - for a moment...
{ Market countdown: 20 days! }
SHWEW! It's off to the publisher. It's funny how the last minute details will be the death of a project. So I was sewing and typing until the last minute. I keep telling myself "Boy! Would I have done a few things different...", but of course hind sight is 20-20 eh? Still, I'm SO EXCITED and RELIVED and just about ten other emotions that come to mind at the moment. Here is my pile o' quilts reading to be toted off to the publisher! It feels so professional (did I say that?) to have photo labels on my quilts and a manuscript hot off a smoking printer.

Well, now onto the next project! The Mummy Mambo quilt is just about finished and Quilt Market preparations are coming together. I am so excited and feel utterly blessed to be working in this industry. It's exhausting and exhilarating at the same time. Now I shall stick my head back in the ground and wait for the next deadline to pass...

Congratulations on sending off your book! Isn't it amazing how it gives you a new burst of energy to get the rest done!?!
I love your allegory of being an ostrich with your head in the ground. . . ! Perfect! That is exactly how it feels! But - I know that you will do wonderfully. . . !See you in a few weeks!
