What a storm!

Well, here we are in Auburn, WA going on our fifth day with no power... Which has caused me to suddenly wish for heat, hot water and a home cooked meal for Christmas rather than the other items on my Christmas wish list. The cold has been brutal in our house but the situation at hand has made me appreciate the finer things in life and cherish the request to "bring out the board games" and watch my teenagers play games with my husband and family rather than let our busy lives take over every minute of the day.
